KUBANY x EQUITY IN DESIGN
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2021, the 26th anniversary of the day of service that celebrates the life and legacy of the Civil Rights leader, KUBANY, LLC announced a new initiative to try to help work towards greater equity in design.
We honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today and every day. He was a visionary and a seer, a truly great man, whose messages are more urgent today than ever.
Like so many others, we have spent so much of the past several years thinking about racial, economic and social justice in our country and trying to be of service in whatever ways we can. We have raised money and organized food drives for Isaiah House, the homeless shelter in East Orange, NJ, we have protested and made our voices hear, but also wanted to use our business platform to this end as well.
KUBANY, LLC created the KUBANY x EQUITY in DESIGN. We are accepting applications for free public relations consulting for minority-owned architecture, design, landscape architecture, and product design firms (or artists) that have been in business (or practicing) for less than 15 years. We are offering each firm/individual six one-hour consultations, once a month for a minimum of six months. To apply, please send an email describing your practice, explaining the challenges you have faced in marketing/promoting yourself or your business, and describing your goals.
This will be an ongoing initiative with no end date.
